Here in the Midwest we are blessed with only a few months of good ol 'summer and boating opportunities annually . However, people in other parts of the country can be boating through the holidays! My family does not have a boat, but we have wonderful friends who do. We have the pleasure to enjoy the water without the expense and concerns to be an owner of real ship, thanks to our friends who provide us an excellent summer entertainment. I have great respect for my friends, boat owners, because they take the necessary precautions to keep their families and friends safely on the water. I am also confident when boating with my friends because I know they carry the appropriate boat insurance. If you are a boat owner, please keep the safety of your passengers in mind! And of course, do not forget to do an annual review with your independent insurance agent to be sure you are covered in a time of need!
