A new survey by the Commonwealth Fund, non-profit health care organization, found more than 80 percent of Americans want a major change in our health care system in the US
this is the survey broken down a little further: 82 percent said the health care system needed fundamental change or complete rebuilding; 16 percent said the only system needs minor reforms
There was not even much of a difference between those who have health insurance and those who do not -. 81 percent of insured Americans and 89 percent of the uninsured thought the system needed fundamental change or complete rebuilding.
The survey also revealed that 9 out of 10 believed that health insurance should be simplified, reported a Reuters article.
There seems to be broad agreement between all those our health care system needs more than just a face-lift.
"It is clear that our health care system does not give Americans the health care they need and deserve," said the president of the Commonwealth Fund, Karen Davis.
