THIS IS WHAT THE LAST DAY LOOKS LIKE for those of you who are not familiar with the Caravan Committee for 35 years, the group of about 130 volunteers welcomed pancake breakfasts throughout the city during the Stampede and year. Their roots can be found in a van of 15 people, back when the batter was mixed with hockey sticks. Today, the Stampede Caravan visit places like Montana, Washington, Quebec, Toronto, England and Hong Kong. It has become a revenue generating element at Calgary Stampede.
