An innovative virtual classroom
MHA @ GW uses the state -of-the-art technology and video conference Live to create an intimate classroom environment with a small teacher-student ratio of 10: 1. Through the online platform, students consider multimedia course of the faculty of design, listen to lectures and participate in meaningful discussions, live via webcam. Each lecture is recorded and available for review later, and online office hours allows students to interact one-on-one with teachers to follow-up questions.
The online platform is designed to encourage participation and high levels of commitment. Students can press a button that allows them virtually "raise their hands" if they have a question or comment they would like to share. Students can also attend sessions in virtual groups for discussions and small group projects. The combination of courses and weekly, self-training course live promotes a learning environment engaging, collaborative that helps build relationships between students and faculty sustainable.
The support services team is also available to provide technical assistance and help students comfortable with the online learning system, regardless of their level of technological expertise.

MHA @ GW students learn the six major skill sets required for a successful career in health administration, including management and strategy, finance and economy, improving quality, technology information and decision sciences, community health and quantitative methods, and the law and regulations. This course is taught for eight 10 weeks line modules using the MHA @ GW online class.
